This tour allows you to enjoy a relaxed trip, besides enjoying a great adventure going up to Huayna Picchu from where we will appreciate the mysterious Inca citadel and the great nature that surrounds this wonder from the top. The trip from Cusco to Aguas Calientes is by bus and train. Daily departures guaranteed.

Day-by-day itinerary

Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes:
  • We pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 10:15 hrs and we start the trip by bus to the Ollantaytambo train station; We arrived around 12:30 hrs and then we boarded the train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes. This trip via train and bus lasts 4 hours on average. During the trip the tourist will appreciate beautiful landscapes and traditional villages which are at the foot of the mountains. We will also appreciate the beautiful Urubamba River that crosses the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Once in Aguas Calientes, around 2:30 pm, we will take you to the hotel of your choice. You will have the afternoon free to have lunch at the restaurant of your choice; You will also have time to visit the town and the hot springs of the place to take a relaxing bath. Around 7:00 pm you will have a brief talk (briefing) with our guide at your hotel to coordinate the details of the tour the next day.
Aguas Calientes - Huayna Picchu - Machu Picchu - Cusco
  • We will pick you up from the hotel after breakfast, at 6:00 a.m. to transfer you by bus to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. At 07:00 hrs the entrance of Huayna Picchu will pass to make the ascent of the mountain; This walk lasts approximately 60 minutes; When you reach the top you will have enough time to enjoy a great view of the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu and the nature that accompanies it. After a time of relaxation at the top, it will begin with the descent; the descent lasts approximately 50 min. This adventure ends at 10:00 hrs. Around 10:00 hrs, you will begin the guided tour of the main attractions of the Inca Citadel, such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Solar Clock, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Royal Cemeteries and much more. The guided tour lasts 2 and a half hours and then you will have free time to continue exploring, take your best photos and enjoy more of this wonder. At a convenient time you can take the bus down to the town of Aguas Calientes. You will have free time to have a quiet lunch, visit the thermal baths, walk through the town and visit the craft market. At 6:30 pm we will take the train that will take us back to Ollantaytambo; the trip lasts two hours approximately, so around 20:20 hrs we will continue with the transfer by bus that will take us back to the city of Cusco; We will arrive at approximately 10:30 p.m.

Important:

  • If there is no income available to climb the Huayna Picchu, you can also opt for the income to the mountain of Machu Picchu; This hike is a very good alternative since the panoramic view of the Inca citadel is on the other side of the mountain or on the opposite side of Huayna Picchu. The visit time to Machu Picchu mountain is between 07:00 and 11:00 hrs.

  • Group (shared) service; applies from 2 people.
  • Double, matrimonial or triple room (check-in: 11:00).
  • Valid for any country and/or nationality.
  • Does not include national or international flights.
  • Rate frozen for all of 2026.
  • No refund if the passenger cancels while in Cusco.

Deposit & payments

  • By Car: 20% deposit, no fee.
  • By Train: 30% deposit, no fee.
  • Final balance by card: 6% bank fee.
  • We recommend paying the balance in cash.
  • The balance is paid on your first day of arrival, at the hotel in Cusco.

  • Passport valid for at least 7 months from the flight date.
  • Bills in good condition (damaged notes are not accepted).
  • Open-date booking: confirm exact dates at least 30 days in advance.
  • You don't need to have your flights purchased when booking.
